W(h)oman Performance
Photo documentation of UAL Chelsea Fine Art’s Thought And Action exhibition. Displayed was a live workout tutorial/durational weight lifting performance, performed in the Triangle space during the private view for an hour. Created garments for the exhibit is the Mahjong dress, consisting of hand cut, painted and upholstered tiles, and the Homono, a kimono made from the artist’s old studio lining; made from canvas and painted from debris of the home. The installed setup was made entirely bespoke for the performance/exhibition.
